OUR HISTORY
1976
The year is 1976. Mary and Ray Tuminello Sr. set out to start a business, and founded R & J Quality Glass Block in Tinley Park. The company installed panels, with a smaller focus on selling glass blocks.
1990s
However, by the 1990s, Ray and Mary’s son Ray Jr. had discovered an unfilled niche of selling vent supplies, so in 1993 he co-founded Innovative Industries. His new company would manufacture vents for distribution through R & J Quality Glass Block, as well as other dealers and distributors.
2000s
In 2001, Ray and his partner purchased his parents’ company, and by 2005, the new joint company developed a strong preference for the high quality glass block products of Pittsburgh Corning.
2007
With the economic slowdown of 2007, Ray and his old partner split ways. Ray's wife Jennifer decided to open a new company named Quality Glass Block and Window Co., making it one of the Midwest's only female-owned glass block companies.
PRESENT
Currently, Quality Glass Block and Window Company is located in Morris, and has become an industry-leading wholesale glass block supplier and manufacturer of Vinyl Wrapped Glass Block Windows.
